Diana Chausheva Diana Chausheva was born on December 10th, 2007 in musical family- her mother is a singer and teacher in Bulgarian folk singing in National School of Music (NMU) , her father is a composer and guitarist , plays several string Bulgarian folk instruments and is a teacher in chamber music in the same school. When she was 6 years old, she started studying violin in Ms Blagorodna Taneva’s class at the National School of Music “Lubomir Pipkov” (Sofia, Bulgaria). In December, 2014 she takes part in the concert “The names of the future” which was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the National School of Music “Lubomir Pipkov” and took place in the National Palace of Culture (Sofia, Bulgaria). In 2015 she earns a first prize at the 7th International string instruments competition in Nish, Serbia, gathering the biggest possible amount of points for her age group. She also earns a first prize from the 10th Anniversary Competition of Young Classical Instrumentalists which took place in the city of Pernik, Bulgaria. In 2016 she also takes part in a concert at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria alongside other students from Ms Blagorodna Taneva’s class. Diana takes part in the master classes of Leonid Kerbel (Belgium),Dora Schwarzberg (Vienna), etc. Her latest achievement (November 2016) is a second prize from the 9th Competition of Young Orchestral Instrumentalists “Dobrin Petkov” in Plovdiv, Bulgaria In 2017 Diana is laureate of the International Stage4Kids Festival in Hamburg , Germany where she got also one of the few special prizes. A few months later she was awarded first prize at the International Violin Competition “Nedyalka Simeonova ”, Haskovo , Bulgaria. In 2018 she received also first prize at the Music Competition for Bulgarian Music in Burgas , Bulgaria , where she played a violin piece, composed and dedicated especially for her by prof.Stefan Dragostinov. She was awarded a diploma for significant art achievements by Bulgarian Minister of Culture after playing at the summit of all 28 Prime Ministers of the EU countries in Sofia in May 2018.She also received a special diploma from Sofia Court at the institution`s 140 years jubilee because of her participation there as a musician. One of Diana`s performances is part of the digital version of the school book in Music in Bulgarian schools ,where she presents the violin as a music instrument .She has also several TV broadcast participations . In 2017-2018 she completed an annual series of masterclasses in Santa Cecilia Music Academy in Bergamo, Italy in the violin class of prof. Vernikov and prof. Voloshin. In addition to her violin dedication and development , Diana also earns a second prize from ENKOR Int`l Music Competition 2018.Diana also sings and wins many voice competitions.
