Lauren Zwonik

Lauren Zwonik, a native of Colchester, Vermont, is a masters student at West Virginia University. She earned her bachelor's in music education and flute performance, with a minor in music business at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York. While attending Crane, Lauren has performed under the batons of Dr. Brian Doyle, Dr. Michael Haithcock, Dr. Steven Meyer, and Colonel Michael Colburn, as well as performing with the Crane Opera Ensemble, Orchestra of Northern New York, and Northern Symphonic Winds.

Lauren has been a featured soloist with the Vermont Youth Orchestra as well as a distinguished clinician, soloist, and mentor in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Jamaica. She was the flute instructor at the Holy Name of Jesus Academy in Massena, New York, and finished her third season as the conductor of the Clarkson University Orchestra. She currently has a private studio in both Potsdam and Vermont.
