Grace Wang, age 14, studies with Professor Ingrid Clarfield in New Jersey, USA. Grace has won many competitions in the last three years. Her most recent 2018 awards are first place in American Protégé Talent competition, third prize in ENKOR Int’l Music Competition, third place in NJMTA young musician competition, third prize and Best Schedrin Performance in III Future Stars International Piano competition (age 14-16), first place in Elite International Piano competition, and third prize in UK Great Composers Competition for the prestigious Artist of the Year Series (age 14-16), Grace also won first prize for Best Mozart Performance and second prize for Best Beethoven Performance in the same age category. In addition, Grace also won an Honorable Mention in 2018 III Paderewski International Piano Competition at the most competitive Young Artist category (age 13-17). The awards also include first place in Piano Teacher’s Congress of New York Honors Program (age 13-15), second place in American Protégé International Competition of Romantic music, first place in American Fine Arts Festival, second place in Greater Princeton Steinway Society Scholarship Competition, second place in 2018 Camerata Artists International Competition, second place in VIVO International Competition, grand prix award in Concert Festival Competition, gold award in the IMPACT Young Artists Competition, grand prix in Music-Fest Rising Talents Festival, first prize with Perfect Scores award in Crescendo International Competition, and first prize with outstanding performance award in the Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition II.
Besides piano, Grace is a passionate dancer, currently in a competition dance team. Inspired to help others using music, Grace regularly performs at charity events and nursing homes.
