Garrett Blosen, age 15, enjoys playing musical instruments especially cello, piano, and various percussion instruments. He has won multiple awards, including the San Francisco Youth Talent Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, Golden Key International Competition, US Open Music Competition, VOCE, Heritage Festival, and the Junior Bach Festival. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and has been invited to the NY Lincoln center. Garrett currently studies cello with Jonathan Koh, and he studies chamber music at the California Music Preparatory Academy. He also was a member of the El Camino Youth Symphony. He enjoys sharing his music with others and uses it as a way to relax. He has been going to local senior homes regularly to play music since he was in middle school. Other than music, he enjoys sailing and robotics, competing in world championships for both activities.
