My name is Jacqueline Chen. I am fifteen years old, a sophomore at The Lawrenceville School, New Jersey. I started playing the piano at age 5. I have studied with Professor Clarfield since 10. I have won many awards. Most recently, I won second place in 2017 Young Musicians Competition (Piano) of NJMTA in my age category and third place in 2018. Second prize in 2018 Camerata Artists International Competition. Third Prize winner in 2018 Great Composers Competition for Best Liszt Performance (age 15-18). The awards are also included five times first prize winner at Crescendo International Competition, five times Grand Prix winner at Music-Fest, five times Gold prize winner at Golden Key Music festival, many times Gold awards in IMPACT competition. I have performed at many prestigious venues including performing at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the others.
In addition, I play the violin, and I was chosen as concertmaster for a local orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Bucks County. I enjoy playing tennis and rowing for Lawrenceville, too.
