Megan Yim

Megan Yim, 15, a 10th grader at Dougherty Valley High School, studies piano with Dr. Chia-Lin Yang in San Francisco Conservatory of Music, pre-college division. Megan has won numerous prizes in US Open Music Competition, in a variety of categories; Bay Area Music Association silver medalist; Great Composer First Prize Winner; US New Star Music First Prize Winner;

She is a keyboardist and worship leader in Silicon Valley Alliance Church.

Aside from music, Megan’s interests include speech and debate, reading and singing. She is in Dougherty Valley Varsity Speech and Debate team, competing throughout the Bay Area. Megan is also very active in giving back to the community. She is the founder of Lion's Heart Service Organization, San Ramon Chapter, received President Volunteer Service Award in 2017.
