Nita Jay

My name is Nita Jay. I am currently in 6th grade at Takoma Park Middle School in Maryland, USA. I have been playing flute for the last four years, and I won prizes and membership that includes:

1. Third Prize in the Washington National Youth Competition in 2018
2. First place in YMIC (Young Musicians Inspiring Inc) Metropolitan Music Festival in 2018
3. Honorable mention in the Washington National Youth Competition in 2019
4. Honorable mention in the Asian American Music Society (AAMS) International Music Competition in 2019
5. Member of New Life Foundation, Inc Youth Orchestra in 2019
6. Accepted into Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra (MCYO) Flute Choir in 2018 and 2019
7. Accepted into Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra (PVYO) Flute Choir in 2018 and both Flute Choir and Concert Band in 2019
