Queenie Dai is 14 years old, and a high school student at Jericho High School. She started flute at the age of 9 and was accepted into the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College at the age of 11. She won the Young Musicians Contest hosted by NYFC at the age of 13 and was accepted into the Juilliard School of Music Pre-college the same year. She is currently studying with Bart Feller and has studied with Melanie Williams and Stephanie Kwak beforehand. Other than flute, she enjoys dancing and listening to different types of music.
